The ProtekNet 60gr insect net offers an excellent crop protection against insects. This net is a durable option suitable for all types of production. Very versatile, it can be used in the field, large tunnels or greenhouses. The net can be installed directly on the plants or hoops for better results. Many size options and mesh sizes are available in 25g, 47g and 70g. Please see the brochure tab for recommendations for different insects.

These nets are non-tearable and have a narrow opening. Unlike woven netting, knitted insect exclusion netting does not fray when cut and if torn, can be sewn. ProtekNet nets are flexible, easy to install and don't necessarily require the use of hoops. Compared to regular woven netting, they are more permeable and provide optimal light to crops.

When choosing the length and width of the nets, an additional 10% must be calculated to compensate for the following factors: the sides of the nets held down, installation on hoops or structures, unevenness of the ground and undulation of the net between the plants.

Details

Knitted ProtekNet nets are non-tearable and have a narrow opening. Unlike woven netting, knitted insect netting does not fray when cut and can be sewn if torn. *The 10% margins in length and width:

Facilitate installation on hoops or structures
Allow the net to be held down with weights
Compensate for ground irregularities
Adapt to net undulations between plants
Enable net to be cut to desired dimensions

Cautionary notes

If there is no hoop under the net, insects can lay eggs on foliage in contact with the net
The thermal effect of the net is minimal, so you can use it during the summer
The net protects crops from weather damage
The mesh size of each net is not proportional to its weight. Please refer to the table in the ‘'Dimensions & Specifications’' section for full details of each product
