Shipping and returns

SHIPPING OPTIONS

FREE shipping only for orders made on the www.duboisag.com Website. Shipping is free on orders of $200 and more delivered to Canada and $200 or more for the USA (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut), on selected Products for which no delivery proposal is required. There may however be a handling fee on certain heavy or large-volume Products. In such a case, a delivery proposal shall be made for transportation expenses and shared with the Client. This delivery proposal is calculated taking into consideration the weight and volume of the Product as well as the region where the Client is located. Availability: Some shipping options may not be available for you at any time. Shipping options will display once you enter your postal code.


SHIPPING RATES

Due to their size and weight, some products require additional shipping costs. Fixed charges between $ 95 and $ 350 will be added to your invoice when purchasing these items on our website.

e.g., anti-insect nets, ground covers over 6 ft long. We are happy to cover shipping costs for our customers with orders over $ 5000 on our oversized products, exceptions apply * Please contact us for further details.

Availability: Shipping rates may vary during the year due to the fluctuation of the global economic market. Once the products are in your shopping cart, fill in your address and the additional costs will be automatically calculated then added.

* Exceptions: Caterpillar Tunnel, RainFlo machinery or any other product that would have been identified as an exception due to their size or weight.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Orders will be processed within four (4) business days in Canada and the United States. Some exceptions may apply and in such a case we will contact you as soon as possible.

No shipping will be done on the following holidays: 

  • During the Christmas holidays (variable dates) 
  • Good Friday or Easter Monday (at Dubois’ choice) 
  • The Monday preceding May 25 (National Patriots’ Day) 
  • June 24, (National Holiday)
  • July 1. If this date falls on a Sunday: July 2. (Canada Day) 
  • The first Monday of September (Labour Day) 
  • The second Monday of October (Thanksgiving Day)

Delivery will be done as quickly as possible following the validation of the means of payment of the order. Delivery time limits may vary depending on the destination and the availability of Products.

A transaction must be completed and entirely paid before Dubois processes the order and delivers the products.


TRACKING NUMBER

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing your delivery information, the means of transportation and a tracking number. You may then click on the link to view your order tracking information. 


REIMBURSEMENT OR EXCHANGE

All orders of products purchased by the client are delivered by Dubois Agrinovation Inc. (“Dubois”) or by a carrier, from its business address located at Saint-Rémi, province of Québec, to the client or to any other location agreed on by the parties in a prior written agreement and unless specified otherwise, and all delivery expenses and insurance are paid by the client. The client shall, in addition, pay all expenses resulting from his non-availability to receive the products at the time agreed to with Dubois or the carrier. The client is responsible to indicate on the purchase order if a product was received damaged or is missing. IF the delivery does not require the signed acceptance of the client, the client must take photographs of any damaged or missing product and sent a notice to Dubois within five (5) business days of the delivery.

If the client advises Dubois of anything which is non-compliant within five (5) business days of receipt, Dubois may at its choice, repossess or replace the non-compliant product or service or give the client a credit. The replacement value or the credit granted cannot exceed the purchase price of the non-compliant product or service. 

If a client intends to return a Product, he shall notify Dubois within a maximum time limit of thirty (30) days from its receipt, specifying the reason for returning it, and in such case, Dubois may authorize the return of the product at its sole discretion. The product must be intact, unaltered and in its original packaging. In such case, Dubois may issue a return authorization number. All expenses and risks of a return are assumed by the client. The initial delivery expenses are non-refundable. The invoice and return authorization number must be included with the product. Dubois shall examine any returned product. If the return is accepted, the client will be entitled to the reimbursement of the purchase price paid. Expenses may apply to the return of an oversized product or products in large quantity. The amount of such expenses shall be specified with the return authorization number. No return shall be accepted thirty (30) days after the initial receipt of the product.

Under no circumstances will a product be replaced, or a service corrected and no reimbursement will be accepted if the product or service was altered, modified or transformed since the date of the delivery of the product or service.

DELIVERY FEES

Dubois delivers itself or by using the services of third-party carriers, almost everywhere in Canada and the United States. Rates are established on the basis of the weight, volume and quantity of Products and location of delivery.


AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS ORDERED 

If a Product ordered cannot be delivered because it is out of stock, the client will be notified and will be offered one of the following three options:

  • Receive only the available products and be credited for the unavailable products.
  • Accept a replacement product.
  • Have the order cancelled.

Dubois shall not in any case be liable for any damages resulting from Products that are out of stock.


SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Important notice regarding deliveries

Please note that our delivery services are not affected by the Canada Post strikes. We work with independent carriers, which allows us to deliver orders within the expected timeframes.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

Delivery services are available in Canada, except for the following territories: Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories. Please note that we ship orders from our distribution center in Saint-Remi, Quebec, or, in some cases, from our facility in Simcoe, Ontario. We ship directly or through third-party carriers. Shipping fees are based on weight, volume, quantity and destination address.

PRODUCT SHIPPING - STANDARD SIZE

Free shipping applies to online orders of $200 or more on standard-size products that do not require a quote.

PRODUCT DELIVERY - NON STANDARD SIZE

Handling fees may apply to certain heavier or larger products. A fixed fee of up to $350 will be added to your invoice when you purchase these items.

Once products have been added to your shopping cart, enter your shipping address so that additional shipping fees are automatically calculated and added to your order total.

We cover shipping costs for non-standard product orders over $5,000. Exceptions apply to certain products; please contact us for more details.

Important note regarding tariffs

Due to tariffs, unforeseen delays may occur. We monitor the situation closely to minimize the impact on our processing and delivery times. However, we recommend that our customers allow extra time for certain products when planning their purchases, especially during peak season, when demand is higher and lead times may be extended.

ORDER TRACKING

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail containing your delivery information, shipping method and tracking number. You can then click on the link to view the tracking information for your order.

REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES

We deliver orders from our distribution center in Saint-Remi, Quebec, or, in some cases, from our facility in Simcoe, Ontario, either directly or via a carrier. Unless stated otherwise, delivery and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer. Any special agreement regarding a different delivery location must be made in advance in writing. The customer is also responsible for any additional costs incurred if they are not available to receive the order at the time agreed with Dubois Agrinovation or the carrier.

The customer is responsible for indicating on the delivery note if a product has been received damaged or is missing. If the delivery note is unsigned, the customer must take photographs and notify Dubois of any damaged or missing products within five (5) business days of receiving the order. In the event of a damaged or non-conforming product, and if notification is made within five (5) business days of reception, we may, at our discretion, take back the product, replace it or offer a credit equivalent to the amount paid (not to exceed the purchase value).

If a customer wishes to return a product, they must contact us within 30 days following the reception and explain the reason for the return. Upon approval, a return authorization number will be issued.

The following conditions apply:

  • The product must be intact and in its original packaging;
  • Return costs and risks are at the customer's expense;
  • Initial shipping fees are non-refundable;
  • The returned product must be provided with the invoice and authorization number.

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, a refund of the amount paid will be issued if the conditions are met. Additional charges may apply for the return of bulky products or large quantities. These charges will be communicated at the time of the return authorization.

No returns will be accepted after 30 days following delivery.

AVAILABILITY OF ORDERED PRODUCTS

In the event of stock shortage, if an ordered product is not available for delivery, we will inform the customer and offer one of the following three options:

  • Receive only the in-stock items and get a credit for the missing products;
  • Replace the out-of-stock item with an equivalent product;
  • Cancel the order.

Dubois Agrinovation cannot be held responsible for any loss or inconvenience caused by stock shortages.
