This foot valve suction basket is designed to protect your pump from the water source’s debris. It is installed at the end of the suction pipe to keep waste from entering the pump. Made of cast aluminium and perforated sheet aluminium, these baskets are lightweight, solid and durable. The product is available in a 102, 127, 152 or 203 mm (4, 5, 6 or 8”) diameter.
Installation
This option’s installation is fast and easy on a suction pipe. You simply insert the pipe into the strainer and tighten the bolts on all sides. The gasket will expand to ensure components remain in place.
