This variety, of Chinese origin and discovered by the Japanese Sakata, offers very vigorous growth and excellent storage: the fruits can be stored for more than 6 months, sometimes even a year under optimal conditions. It is possible that some squashes may exhibit a slightly different shape or color. The taste and texture, however, remain delicious! Less than 10% of plants are affected by this minor variability.
