In colder regions like Saint-Damien, seed production for this biennial vegetable is a real challenge: it must brave the winter to flower and produce its precious seeds the following year. This unique mix contains up to 5 different kohlrabi varieties, offering a palette of colors from tender green to bright purple. The fleshy bulbs, of varying sizes, reveal a crisp flesh with a sweet flavor reminiscent of cabbage. Imagine the diversity of textures and flavors on your plates!

Kohlrabi can be enjoyed in many ways: raw in salads or as crudités to enjoy its crispness, or cooked steamed, baked, grilled, sautéed, in soups, or even pickled for a change. Harvesting begins as soon as the bulbs are sufficiently developed, usually around mid-June for early sowings, and continues until late autumn for later sowings.
