Écoumène Crimean Black Standard Tomato Organic Seeds

Native to the Crimean peninsula on the Black Sea, this large tomato is a favourite with children because it has no acidity and few seeds. 

The smooth, purple-red fruits with green shoulders are round and regular, turning almost black in very hot summers. Their dark red and green flesh has a unique, mild, sweet flavour that is a favourite in salads. 

The medium-sized fruits usually weigh between 120 and 150g, but can sometimes weigh twice that. The indeterminate plant is highly resistant to drought and can grow up to 2 m tall.
