NetafimSpray Stake Assemblies are specifically designed and matched to the container shape producing uniform and accurate wetting patterns for Nursery Containers from 3 to 30 gallons in size. They are an excellent solution where the primary means of fertilization is top dressing and where very coarse textured bark mixes are used.
PCNL SPRAY STAKES (Pressure Compensation Non-Leak)
Netafim's new PCNL Spray Stake Assemblies are pressure compensating with a check valve for improved control of water and fertilizers. The efficient spray pattern evenly wets the soil surface to maximize water retention while misting is nearly eliminated and wind drift is prevented. Additional features include: simple construction, easy close-off mechanism, high resistance to sunlight, fertilizers and chemicals, long-life reliability.
HIGH UNIFORMITY
Netafim Spray Stake Assemblies provide unsurpassed uniformity to each plant. The precise amount of water, and fertilizer are delivered directly to each container producing a fast growing, evenly sized crop. Most sprinkler systems lack uniform coverage and this creates both wet and dry areas. Plant foliage can interfere with the water reaching the container resulting in overwatering. With Netafim Spray Stake Assemblies, 94% uniformity, even on slopes, and longer runs with smaller polyethylene supply laterals can be achieved.
NO-RUN OFF = SAVINGS
Since all the water is delivered directly to the container, there is no overspray in the aisles or water run-off between plants. This saves water, fertilizer and energy costs.
PRODUCT DURABILITY
Manufactured from quality plastics with high levels of UV inhibitors, Netafim Spray Stake Assemblies provide durability in direct sunlight lowering replacement costs and providing years of reliable service.
EFFICIENT SPRAY PATTERN
Netafim Spray Stakes are specifically designed and better matched to the container shape. Our solutions are designed to wet the soil surface evenly to maximize water retention by the soil mix and evenly release liquid or timed-release fertilizers.
SIMPLE CLOSE-OFF FEATURE
Both the PCNL and standard Spray Stakes feature close-off capabilities that are simple and quick. This prevents dirt getting jammed into the tubing and provides a highly visible cue that the stake is closed, not open.
PCNL Spray Stakes - remove the nipple and attached tubing with dripper from the top of the PCNL Spray Stake and attach the nipple onto the protrusion on the side of the stake.
SPRAY DIRECTION INDICATOR
Netafim Spray Stakes now have a spray direction indicator for faster, accurate installations. The directional indicator provides a hand-feel as well as visual cue to the spray direction so installers don't need to stop and study each stake to ensure proper spray direction.
DESIGN VERSATILITY
Netafim Spray Stakes are available in two styles:
PCNL Pressure Compensating Assemblies are recommended for longer length rows and sloping terrain.
Plum PCNL Spray Stake Assembly, 3.2 gph, Single Spray Pattern, used with 3-5 gallon containers
Grey PCNL Spray Stake Assembly, 6.6 gph, Single or Double Spray Patterns, used with 5-30 gallon containers
PCNL PRESSURE COMPENSATING DRIPPERS
The WPCJ pressure compensating dripper to provide a constant flow from 10 to 45 PSI and has a built-in check valve. These drippers ensure that the last container in the row gets the same amount of water as the first. The check valve prevents water in the supply pipes from draining into the lowest plants after the valve shuts off. Drippers are color coded for easy flow identification.
PCNL Plum/Black Dripper has 3.2 gph flow rate and is used with the Plum PCNL Spray Stake.
PCNL Orange/Grey Dripper has 6.6 gph flow rate and is used with the Grey PCNL Spray Stake.
The combination of PCNL drippers and Spray Stakes were co-developed for optimum performance. Netafim recommends their use in the combinations indicated in the Part Number charts.
