Bio360

The compostable Bio360 mulch film is made of Mater-Bi, a vegetable starch-based raw material that is compostable. The colorant concentrate (masterbatch) pigment mixture used for coloring is also made of Mater-Bi. It leaves no toxic residues in the ground and you save on removal, recycling and land fill costs. Bio360 is also guaranteed non oxo-degradable. It leaves no chemical residues in the soil once it degrades. Mater-Bi complies with international degradation and environmental standards such as TUV Austria Soil OK biodegradable and BPI's ASTM D6400, which guarantee complete decomposition in the soil without any toxic residues.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

Certification Compostable BPI

This certification, allocated by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI), certifies that products and packaging successfully break down in professionally managed composting facilities, without harming the quality of that compost. BPI's goal: scalable diversion of organic waste to composting.

Certification OK Biodegradable SOIL

This certification, allocated by TÜVA AUSTRIA (Belgium) certifies that analyzed products optimally break down in the soil without compromising its quality. The OK Biodegradable SOIL label guarantees that a product will completely biodegrade in the soil without adversely affecting the environnement.

Certification Compostable CIC

This certification, affected by the Italian Composting and Biogas Association (CIC), validates that analyzed bags and compostable products (made of paper or bioplastic) are compatible with the industrial composting process and do not affect the quality of the obtained compost.

IPP UNI AND IIP Conformity

The Italian Plastic Institutes (IPP Srl) operates certification of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished plastic products and validates compliance with European standards. IPP Uni and PIIP marks confirm that products meet UNI, UNI EN, and UNI EN ISO prescribed standards.

Testimonials

- Drum's produce | Bloomsburg, Pennsylvanie

“It works, I disc it under at the end of the season and it’s gone. I buy more every year and now will use on all plastic applications.”

- Garden Spot Greenhouse | Portage, Michigan

“I grow 20 acres of vegetables and I am using Bio360. Great product, I tried side by side with oxo degradable, and Bio360 has broken up much better at the end of the season. More expensive but worth the money.”

- Coverdale Farm Preserve | Greenville, Delaware

“Bio360 is fantastic, we don’t have to pick it up at the end, it’s the biggest advantage. Because of the time we spend to pull up plastic is a nightmare.”
