The Mazzei Fertilizer Injector Kit

The Mazzei fertilizer injector and feeder kit is used to fertilize your field/greenhouse crops. It comes equipped with a main gate valve (1) to control the water supply in order to adequately irrigate and fertilize your crops. The Mazzei injector kit also irrigates without fertilization by completely shutting off the two ball valves (3). It can be used to distribute any type of soluble fertilizer; however, the solution's consistency will affect the flow. If desired, the injector may be equipped with a check valve (8) that protects your water supply from any wastewater backflow after an interruption.


Installation

The injector may be installed at any point of the water line, preferably before reaching the filter. The end of the ¼" clear vinyl tube (5) with strainer (9) is installed in the soluble fertilizer tank. The tube can also be cut to a suitable length.

 

Use

The injector is activated by the rate of the water flow (2). A reinforced hose (6) connected to a gate valve (7) can be used to prepare the fertilizer solution on site. By activating the two ball valves, water is suction-directed in the Mazzei injector (10), where you can control the fertilizer injection level with the adjustment valve (4).
